Fog in the Chains of Chayni
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 6 at 08:40, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate highways in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for all types of vehicles. The Sotk-Karvachar highway is difficult to navigate. There are patches of black ice in the regions of Tsaghkadzor in Kotayk province, Ashotsk and Amasia regions, on the Kuchak-Aparan and Yerevan-Sevan highways, and in the Saravan-'Zanger' section.
Fog has settled in the Chains of Chayni.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Department and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for passenger vehicles, but closed for trucks. According to information from the Russian crisis management center, there are 580 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.
