Pegasus Airlines Plane Crashes at Istanbul Airport After Landing, Passengers Hospitalized
A Pegasus Airlines plane arriving from Izmir has gone off the runway and crashed at Sabiha Gokcen Airport in Istanbul. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
As a result of the incident, the aircraft broke into three pieces and caught fire. A total of 177 passengers and six crew members were evacuated. Firefighters and emergency services are currently working at the scene.
It has been noted that 21 passengers sought medical assistance. According to Turkey's Minister of Transport, Mehmet Cahit Turhan, no one was killed in the accident.
