Armenian Citizen Evacuated from Wuhan, China and Transferred to Russia, MFA Reports
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informs that another citizen of Armenia has been evacuated from China.
“We inform you that on February 4, in cooperation with our Russian partners, Ludmila Baghdasaryan, an Armenian citizen who was in Wuhan and expressed a desire to be evacuated, has been evacuated and transported to Russia. The Armenian Embassy is in constant contact with our citizen and steps are being taken to return her to Armenia as soon as possible. We express our sincere gratitude to our Russian partners for their prompt response to Armenia's request and for the assistance provided,” the statement noted.
It is also reported that currently evacuations are being conducted only from the quarantine area in Hubei Province. Other Armenian citizens in Hubei have declined the option of evacuation.
