Another Council Meeting Before Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly, Says Alen Simonyan

An extraordinary council meeting of the National Assembly was held today, February 5, with the aim of convening an extraordinary session on January 6 at the initiative of the deputies.

The council meeting was set to discuss the version of the “My Step” faction for resolving the crisis surrounding the Constitutional Court, which was presented in the form of a draft law.

Alen Simonyan informed reporters that most likely, another council meeting will be convened today, as a new item will be added to the agenda. The law requires this to be done during a separately called council meeting. Simonyan did not specify what the new item would be.
