Do Not Attribute the Revelation About the Mother and Son Meeting in Berd City to You: Haikouhi Khachatryan

Haikouhi Khachatryan, coordinator of the 'Mothers of Armenia' initiative, wrote on her Facebook page:

“Dear law enforcement officers, please do not attribute the revelation about the meeting of the mother and son in Berd city to you. I have revealed it, not you.

First of all, please take measures to ensure that children are not unlawfully separated from their mothers through various forms of disappearance.

Please, take the initiative to investigate one of the 700 (seven hundred) disappearance cases I have sent, namely the case of my son's disappearance, instead of coming and validating yourselves on the basis of our work.

In the video, it is stated in plain Armenian and clearly that we do not wish to contact law enforcement (you know better than I do why).

I state clearly and understandably: “Stay away from topics that do not concern you; your intervention is not necessary in this matter, whereas in other matters, the scale is enormous.”

Make optimal use of your time for the sake of efficiency, and do not waste our time inviting you. “Time is gold.”

Let me add a nuance: “A solved case does not need to be revealed.” We have solved this case to the extent that we even know the size of their shoes.

We, I, Haikouhi Khachatryan, the head of the Mothers of Armenia movement, do not accept your invitation on behalf of the mother and son. Think what you want, delete what you do not wish to keep. For us, however, it is all the same. I declare with all responsibility, rooted in high norms of human value systems. Respectfully…”
