The newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' reports: Details have emerged regarding the meeting of the investigative committee examining the circumstances of the military actions that took place in April 2016 in the National Assembly, which was attended by the former Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan.
According to our information, the meeting yesterday was conducted in a relatively calm atmosphere. We learned that the discussions lasted three and a half hours, during which Seyran Ohanyan primarily spoke.
According to the newspaper, Ohanyan answered the questions posed by members of the investigative committee with great patience; however, prior to this, he had a private conversation with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, in his office.
Details have surfaced regarding the closed session that took place in the National Assembly. Specifically, Ohanyan stated that he has not welcomed the establishment of this committee from the start, as studies have been conducted within the Ministry of Defense years ago, clarifying all circumstances and drawing the corresponding conclusions regarding the causes and consequences of the April four-day war.
'Zhoghovurd' clarified that the committee chair, Andranik Kocharyan, began to present their questionnaire to Ohanyan, indicating that the purpose of this questionnaire is to understand what actually took place during the April four-day war.
According to our information, Seyran Ohanyan provided a very detailed account of everything he was aware of, and it can be said that the data held by the committee members and the information provided by Ohanyan did not differ in any way.
