World's Oldest Woman Dies in Tajikistan
The oldest person in the world has passed away in Tajikistan, according to reports from RIA Novosti.
Fatima Mirozokulova died at the age of 127. She was born on March 13, 1893.
The world's oldest woman lived through three centuries and three different countries: the Emirate of Bukhara, as part of the Russian Empire, the USSR, and in her last decades, independent Tajikistan.
It has been reported that the centenarian was married twice and gave birth to eight children. Additionally, she has over 200 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
