As of 23:00, Vardenyats Pass Open, Other Roads Difficult to Navigate
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 29 at 23:00, there are difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is open for all types of vehicles, while it is passable for trucks with trailers only if snow chains are used.
The Sotk-Karvachar road is impassable for all types of vehicles, and likewise for trucks with trailers only if snow chains are applied.
All roads in the Syunik region are reported to have patches of black ice.
According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepanstminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
