Transfer of Injured Soldiers from Artsakh to Yerevan Not Related to Hospital Capacity
The transfer of injured soldiers from Artsakh to Yerevan is not related to the capacity of hospitals. This opinion was expressed by Vahan Gevorgyan, the head of the Central Clinical Military Hospital.
“I assure you, both civilian hospitals in Artsakh and the military hospital are sufficiently equipped. The transfer of a soldier from one hospital to another has a specific purpose; each facility has its function and carries out its assigned tasks,” Gevorgyan stated.
As an example, he mentioned that a soldier who sustained an injury to the head needs to be transferred to a hospital in Yerevan, which specializes in this specific case.
One of the soldiers injured in Artsakh has sustained a head injury. Details: The Artsakh Defense Army reported that on January 24 at around 06:55, during unspecified circumstances, two soldiers, 2001-born Henrikh Hayk Simon Zakaryan and 2000-born Armen Jonik Mesropyan, received gunshot wounds while stationed in the northern direction.
Armenian military medicine was established during a complex period. What is its current condition? Gevorgyan reported that Henrikh Hayk Simon Zakaryan’s condition is extremely serious, having sustained a head injury. The soldier is currently in Martakert hospital and, according to Gevorgyan, if necessary, he will undergo rehabilitation treatment at the Central Military Hospital in Yerevan.
