Criminal Case Launched Due to Injuries of Soldiers

On January 24, 2020, at approximately 06:55, an incident occurred in military unit N where conscript soldiers, Private Henry-Hayk Simon Zakaryan sustained a gunshot wound to the head and Junior Sergeant Armen Joniki Mesropyan received a gunshot wound to the right arm. A criminal case has been opened by the third garrison investigative department under Part 2, Clause 1 of Article 34-104 and Part 1 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, and an investigation is underway.

Necessary investigative and procedural actions are being taken to ensure a comprehensive, complete, and objective examination of the case.
