Criminal Case Initiated Following Gunfire Incident at 'Erebuni Plaza'; 33-Year-Old Man Arrested
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident that took place at 'Erebuni Plaza' under Articles 218.2.2, 218.2.3, and 218.2.7 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (taking hostages), Article 235.1 (illegal acquisition, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, military equipment, explosives or explosive devices), and Article 185.2.1 (intentional destruction or damage of property), according to the press service of the Investigative Committee.
A man born in 1987 has been arrested. As per the instruction of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Hayk Grigoryan, the case is being investigated by the Heavy Crimes Investigation Division of the Yerevan Investigative Department.
