Suspect Wanted for Stabbing a Woman Found

Thanks to operational and investigative measures taken by the police department in Taron, on January 18 at 15:50, 22-year-old Garik A. was found and taken to the Taron police station in Vanadzor from one of the buildings in the 5th district of Charentsavan. He had been wanted since January 8 by the Central Police Department for charges under Article 258 (Hooliganism) of the Armenian Criminal Code.

During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that Garik A. is suspected of inflicting bodily harm with a knife on a 21-year-old woman during a dispute in an apartment on K. Demirchyan Street in Vanadzor on January 17 at 17:30.

Garik A. has been arrested. An investigation is underway.
