Armenian Soldier Injured by Enemy Gunfire in Tavush
An Armenian contract soldier has been injured by enemy gunfire in Tavush. According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, on January 15, around 16:30, in one of the combat positions located in the northeastern direction of Armenia, a contract soldier, Private Arthur Hrachiki Mejlumyan (Tavush Military Unit), sustained a fragmentary gunshot wound from a sniper rifle of the SV-74 type fired by the adversary.
The soldier has been transferred to Yerevan's Central Clinical Military Hospital, where his condition is assessed as severe. An investigation is underway.
