Roads Closed and Impassable as of 19:00

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 20 at 19:00, there are closed and impassable roads within the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is open to trucks with the use of chains. The Sotk-Karvachar road is closed to trucks and impassable for other vehicles. In the province of Syunik, some roads are covered with black ice.

In the city of Goris, in the area known as "Meghru Mountain," on the Sotk-Karvachar road and at the Vardenyats Pass, fog is present in the "Chaynii" turns.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepanstminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
