Closed and Difficult-to-Navigate Roads in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 20 at 12:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is open for trucks, provided that tire chains are used. The Sotk-Karabakh road is closed for trucks and difficult to navigate for other vehicles.
On the roads of the Syunik region, there are places with black ice. In the city of Goris, in the area known as 'Meghruni Sar' and on the Sotk-Karabakh road, there is fog present.
According to information received from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
