Change in Traffic Organization in Yerevan
In order to enhance pedestrian traffic safety and prevent road traffic incidents, a change in traffic organization has been implemented at the intersection of Artsakh Avenue and Ayvazovsky and Arin-Berd streets in Yerevan. This is reported by the Traffic Police of Armenia.
As a result of the change, the maximum allowable speed for vehicles in both directions in the specified section of Artsakh Avenue has been set to 60 km/h, reduced from the previous 70 km/h.
The operational mode of the speed camera in this section will be altered, and starting January 20, 2020, the device will record violations by drivers exceeding the speed limit of 60 km/h.
Drivers are advised to remain attentive, adhere to traffic regulations, and not to exceed the maximum allowable speed limit.
