Child of Renowned Medical Center Director Robbed in Yerevan

A robbery incident has occurred in Yerevan. The Arabkir police department received a call reporting that an unknown person had robbed a 14-year-old student at the intersection of Baghramyan Avenue and Moscow Street.

According to shamshyan.com, the unidentified individuals approached the 14-year-old student under the pretext of making a phone call and forcibly took his iPhone XR mobile phone before fleeing the scene. Police have taken 19-year-old Daniel, a resident of Yerevan, into custody on suspicion of involvement in the robbery.

The Arabkir police have also identified his accomplices. Necessary operational-investigative measures are underway to locate the accomplices and recover the stolen phone.

Shamshyan's information indicates that the victim's father is the director of one of the well-known medical centers operating in Yerevan.
