Mercedes Collides with Parked Lada in Yerevan, then Hits Trash Bins and a Tree, Striking Electric Pole
Today, January 18, a tragic car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 03:20, a 24-year-old resident of the Nor Arech neighborhood, Henry Markosyan, while driving a Mercedes, collided with a parked Lada vehicle on Khorenatsi Street, near the Erebuni Police Department, under still unknown circumstances.
Following the initial collision, the vehicle continued forward, hitting trash bins belonging to Sanitek Company, then crashed into a tree, breaking it, and subsequently collided with an electric pole, partially ending up in the middle of the road.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan at the scene, as a result of the accident, the driver died on the spot. His body was extracted from the car by the rescue team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Fire and Rescue Service.
