Another Earthquake Recorded in Ashotzk

On January 18, at 08:20 local time (04:20 GMT), a seismic event was registered by the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The earthquake occurred at a geographical coordinate of 40.930 degrees north latitude and 44.030 degrees east longitude, 19 kilometers southeast of the village of Ashotzk, at a depth of 10 kilometers, with a magnitude of 2.4.

The intensity of the tremor in the epicentral zone was measured at 3 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in the city of Gyumri and in the village of Zorashen in the Shirak region.
