No Change in Condition of Soldier Wounded by Enemy Fire in Tavush Yesterday: Defense Ministry Spokesman
There is no change in the condition of the soldier wounded by enemy fire in Tavush yesterday. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, during a conversation with NEWS.am.
“The condition remains the same, there is no change, his life is not in danger, but the situation is not good,” he said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense released a statement indicating that on January 15, at around 16:30, a contract serviceman, Private Arthur Hrachik Mejlumyan (from Tavush Medical Corps), sustained a gunshot fragment wound from sniper fire of type SVD while stationed at a combat position in one of the military units located in the northeastern direction of Armenia, according to preliminary data.
The soldier has been transferred to the Central Military Hospital in Yerevan, and his health condition is assessed as serious.
