Traffic Changes at the Intersections of Arshakunyats-Kristapor and Arshakunyats-G.Nzhdeh Streets
In order to enhance pedestrian traffic safety and prevent road traffic accidents, changes have been made to traffic organization at the intersections of Arshakunyats Avenue with Kristapor and G. Nzhdeh streets in Yerevan. This has been reported by the press service of the RA Police.
As a result of the changes, the maximum allowed speed for vehicles in both directions at the specified section of Arshakunyats Avenue has been set to 60 km/h, down from the previous 70 km/h. The operating mode of the speed camera in the area will also be modified, and starting from January 20, 2020, the camera will record violations by drivers exceeding the speed limit of 60 km/h.
The police urge drivers to be attentive, to follow traffic rules, and not to exceed the maximum allowed speed.
