This Bill Will Encourage the Flow of Local and Foreign Investments, Tunyan
The chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Affairs Standing Committee and member of the 'My Step' faction, Babken Tunyan, made a post on his Facebook page.
“The Economic Affairs Standing Committee today gave a positive conclusion before the second reading of the initiative proposed by me, Artak Manukyan, and Varazdat Karapetyan. I want to remind that we suggested exempting income tax on the revenues from bonds issued by private companies, exempting dividends from taxation on shares of listed companies, and exempting brokerage services on the stock exchange from VAT. I am convinced that this bill (if approved by the National Assembly in the second reading) will activate the securities market and encourage the flow of both local and foreign investments,” he stated.
