Only 'Range Rovers' Were Targeted by the Man: He Provided a Confession
On January 14, at 14:50, officers from the Nor-Nork Division of the Police's Criminal Investigation Department detained a 37-year-old man on suspicion of theft in Gyurjyan Street. The police report states that he provided a confession, admitting that in December 2019, taking advantage of the doors being left open, he stole the front seat from a 'Range Rover' parked in the Avan-Arinj neighborhood.
The detained individual also disclosed that he had committed other thefts in the Nor-Nork and Avan administrative districts. Thanks to the actions taken by the Criminal Investigation Department officers, it was revealed that in December 2019, he had stolen the protective cover of the air conditioning system from a 'Range Rover' parked on Totoventsi Street.
Further investigations showed that in December 2019, again utilizing the open doors, he stole the front seat from a 'Range Rover' parked in the Avan-Arinj neighborhood. It was also established that he had stolen the gearshift lever and speaker from the interior of a 'Range Rover' parked in Avan-Arinj neighborhood.
Measures are being taken to identify the victims and recover the stolen items. The 37-year-old man has been released. Materials are being prepared for further legal proceedings.
