Inmate Dies at Prison Hospital

An inmate, 45-year-old Karen Tsaghikyan, has died at the prison hospital. This information is reported by the press service of the Penitentiary Service.

It is noted that Karen Tsaghikyan suffered from natural ichthyosis, chronic hepatitis, hepatitis C, secondary anemia, complicated high-degree myopia, globes subtrophy, chronic purulent mesotympanitis on the left side, hearing loss, recurrent oral candidiasis, pneumosclerosis, and chronic renal failure.

An investigation is being conducted to determine the cause of the inmate's death, and a forensic examination has been ordered.
