Kim Jong Un Demands to Ensure North Korea's Security with 'Offensive' Measures
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has demanded that the country's security be ensured through 'offensive' measures. This was reported by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), noting that Kim Jong Un made this statement during a plenary session of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
"By calling for constructive and offensive measures in the current situation to fully guarantee the country’s sovereignty and security, he has set tasks in the areas of North Korea’s foreign policy, defense industry, and armed forces," KCNA reported.
Earlier in December, it became known that North Korea plans to implement a hardline policy toward the United States, including withdrawing from negotiations over denuclearization.
