Healthcare and Labor Inspection Authority to Operate in Enhanced Mode at Border Points During New Year
During the New Year period, the Healthcare and Labor Inspection Authority will operate in enhanced mode, featuring daily duty personnel.
Given the large flow of people leaving and entering the country during the holiday season, increased monitoring will be conducted at border checkpoints, particularly at Bagratashen, Bavra, Ayrum-Jiliza, and Gogavan-Privolnoye, which control entry and exit to Georgia. Enhanced oversight will focus on travelers departing and arriving in the country, paying special attention to clinical signs characteristic of infectious diseases and conducting automatic temperature measurements.
Similarly, monitoring will be intensified for individuals entering the country by air, utilizing stationary thermometers at the border sanitary inspection point at Zvartnots International Airport.
In cases of food poisoning incidents characteristic of the New Year period, the inspection authority will respond within the framework of its powers.
