Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia and chair of the board of trustees of the 'My Step' and 'City of Smile' charitable foundations, visited the Ijevan branch of the Armenian charitable foundation 'SOS Children's Villages'.
Accompanied by Ijevan Mayor Hayk Ghalumyan, National Director of 'SOS Children's Villages' Spartak Sargsyan, and Director of the Ijevan branch Gevorg Tadevosyan, Anna Hakobyan toured the care center, conversing with the children living there and representatives of the foundation.

The 'SOS Children's Villages' charitable foundation began its operations in Armenia immediately after the devastating Spitak earthquake in 1988. It is a child-centered organization dedicated to providing care for children in difficult living situations, ensuring they remain in a family-like environment. The SOS Children's Village in Ijevan has been operational since 2009.
