VIDEO: 17-Year-Old Cashes Out Money with Stolen Bank Card from Senior Citizen's Home

On December 11, around 17:30, a senior resident of the town of Metsamor reported to the police that her apartment door had been opened with a master key and that a bank card and one month’s pension had been stolen from her bedroom wardrobe. The stolen card also contained its PIN.

The perpetrator immediately cashed out money using the card. This information was reported to the police. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the fact of residential burglary by the territorial preliminary investigation body.

Criminal investigators from the Metsamor police department obtained factual data through operational measures, indicating that a 17-year-old resident of Metsamor had opened the pensioner's door with a duplicate key and committed theft.

Thanks to explanatory work, the suspect presented himself to the Metsamor police department. The young man has been transferred to the investigative department of the police, where he confessed to his crime and has been charged. The investigation of the initiated criminal case is ongoing.
