We Must Do Everything to Make the Revolution Irreversible: Arman Babajanyan Forms a Coalition

Independent Member of Parliament Arman Babajanyan has announced the formation of a coalition. He made this statement today, December 14, during a political gathering focused on the revolutionary agenda.

Babajanyan proposed that attendees unite around ideological commonalities to implement revolutionary changes. According to him, the revolution faces threats not only from the former regime but also from current representatives of the government due to their incompetence and ineptitude.

"I am not a revolutionary, and I have never been, but I cannot avoid being the defender of this unique revolution granted to Armenia. This means that the revolution needs protection both from the revanchists and those in power," stated Arman Babajanyan.

He noted that there have been no revolutionary changes in the government's actions in the past 1.5 years. Babajanyan expressed the view that there is currently no force in the country that counters the government, and that the parliamentary opposition does not serve as that counterbalance; thus, they are forming this coalition to fulfill that role.
