MP Proposes Increasing State Funeral Benefit Amount

Member of the National Assembly Sarik Minasyan from the "Enlightened Armenia" faction has proposed to increase the amount of the funeral benefit provided by the state.
The MP wrote on his Facebook page that he has addressed this proposal to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“Today, I have submitted a proposal to the Prime Minister to review the amount of the one-time benefit provided by the state in the event of a pensioner's death, which has remained at 200,000 AMD since 2010,” Minasyan wrote.

The MP suggests setting a new amount for the state funeral benefit, proposing a minimum of 250,000 AMD.
