Ararat Mirzoyan's Proposals Accepted

On November 21, I participated in the session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Council in Saint Petersburg. This was reported by the Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan on his Facebook page.

“Among other issues, the council reviewed the reports of the observation missions of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly during the presidential elections in Kazakhstan and the parliamentary elections in Belarus, discussed the schedule of observation missions for the upcoming national elections in CIS countries next year, and the list of events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. At my suggestion, the document regarding the application of international humanitarian law in cases of violent manifestations of extremism and terrorism was removed from the agenda of the plenary session for further discussion in committees,” wrote the NA Speaker.
