National Assembly Approves Bill to Lower Age Requirement for Advisory Positions

The National Assembly of Armenia today approved on its first reading a bill aimed at lowering the legal age requirement for advisory positions. The draft law, authored by Vagarshak Hakobyan from the "My Step" faction, was approved with 93 votes in favor and 1 abstention.

The proposal suggests reducing the minimum age for holding an advisory position from 30 to 25 years, and also decreasing the required work experience from 5 years to 3 years.
