Prisoner Escapes from Nubarashen Penitentiary at Dawn
On November 18, around 05:00, a prisoner from the Nubarashen penitentiary of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, Arayik Samveli Sargsyan, born in 1988, escaped from the hospital where he was receiving treatment at the Erebuni Medical Center.
The Armenian Penitentiary Service informed NEWS.am that Sargsyan, who has been sentenced previously seven times, was serving a sentence of six years and six months for an offense under Article 177, Part 3 of the Armenian Criminal Code.
He is described as approximately 170 cm tall, with an athletic build, brown eyes, a broad forehead, black hair, thick lips, a flat, hooked nose, and a bandaged injury on the left side of his neck. At the time of his escape, he was wearing a black blouse, black sportswear, and slippers.
