Where Have the Archive Documents of the Gyumri Municipality Disappeared?

The archive documents of the Gyumri Municipality from 2007 and 2008 are missing. This was stated today by Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan during the regular session of the city's council. The municipality is set to re-evaluate properties.

There are 12 different buildings listed in the Gyumri Municipality's balance sheet, but it has also been revealed that these were sold years ago and possess privatization certificates. Whether there were council decisions regarding these sales was questioned by Council member Levon Barseghyan from the 'Gala' faction. In response, the head of the financial and economic department, Lena Jilavyan, remarked, “I cannot make such a responsible statement about whether or not there were decisions made by the council regarding these sales. Since there are years in the archive during which we cannot find the completed transactions.
