Samvel Hovhannisyan: From Deputy Police Chief to Head of Arkadik's Security Detail

According to the newspaper «Zhamanak», former deputy police chief Samvel Hovhannisyan, who was dismissed immediately after the 2018 revolution, now holds the position of head of security for Arkadik of Derzhava, Arkadi Hambardzoumian.

Hovhannisyan is well-known to the Armenian public for a number of notable remarks made during a press conference marking the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, including comments such as "from twenty zero zero in the morning" and "citizens' entry to the Genocide Memorial from thirteen zero zero zero."
