Condition of Two Armenians Injured in Elevator Fall in St. Petersburg is Serious
The condition of two Armenians injured in an elevator fall at the number 18 maternity hospital in St. Petersburg, Russia, is serious. According to Armenpress, this information was reported by Fontanka.
Based on the news outlet's data, one of the injured men is 28 years old, while the other is 35. Both men are in serious condition with multiple open and closed fractures and internal organ injuries following the fall. One of them has been placed in the shock trauma unit.
The preliminary cause of the elevator fall is reported to be the rupture of a cable during renovation work. The St. Petersburg Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case for violations of safety regulations during construction work.
