A Carpet Named 'Armenian Universe' Sold for $30,000 in the USA
A carpet named 'Armenian Universe' has been sold for $30,000 in California. This was reported by Shushan Danielyan, the spokesperson for Yerevan State Medical University.
Under the initiative of the 'Defender of the Fatherland' rehabilitation center, the heroes of the Soldier's House created a beautiful Armenian carpet, which was named 'Armenian Universe'. Among those involved in the weaving of the carpet are Tigran Mansuryan, Jivan Gasparyan, jazz musician Malxas, Aurora Prize winner Tom Catina, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and his wife Anna Hakobyan, among others.
All proceeds from the sale will be directed towards the construction of the Heroes' Café and Educational Center at the Soldier's House.
