The Aircraft is the Property of the Republic of Armenia, Not a Specific Individual: MP
Armen Pambukhchyan, a member of the "My Step" parliamentary faction, wrote on his social media page: "In 2007, the TU-134 aircraft (produced in 1977) serving the President of the Republic of Armenia was replaced by an Airbus A319 (produced in 1998). At that time, I was not registered on Facebook, but I held an opposition stance, and when discussing that decision with my friends, opinions were unanimous that this aircraft also represents Armenia and is more secure from a safety perspective, regardless of our attitudes towards the country’s top officials.
Now the government has decided to replace the A319 with a new, more secure, long-range aircraft, which will not only transport the Prime Minister, President, and members of the delegation but also journalists covering the visit.
P.S. This aircraft is the property of the Republic of Armenia, not of a specific individual."
