81-Year-Old Woman Robbed in Building Yard

On October 28, at 20:55, an 81-year-old woman living on Zakyan Street called the police to report that an unknown individual had openly stolen her wallet in the yard of their building an hour earlier. The wallet contained two mobile phones and cash.

The police report indicates that an operational group from the Central Police Department was dispatched to the scene. At 22:10, personnel from the Yerevan city police's special purpose squad arrested a 34-year-old man from Victory Street 2, suspected of committing the robbery, from the same area.

Investigations are underway.
