Why Arthur Baghdasaryan is Intensively Selling His Assets
According to the newspaper "Zhamanak", "In one of our previous publications, we reported that former head of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Arthur Baghdasaryan, is selling his assets. Our source did not rule out that the recent intensive sales of Baghdasaryan’s properties are connected to the recent arrest of former Minister of Transport and former member of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gurgen Sargsyan, for illicit enrichment or corruption cases.
According to our source, Gurgen Sargsyan earned enormous amounts of money during his tenure at the State Registry office, where he worked during the Kocharyan era, through enterprise registrations, mandatory re-registrations, and other similar transactions. We were told that Sargsyan was literally selling the charters of LLCs for $100 to $500 in the State Registry offices, depending on how quickly the applicant needed it. His political leader has also not remained untouched by the profits from various deals."
