The Brother of the Deputy Head of the State Revenue Committee is a Suspect in the Murder of a 64-Year-Old Woman

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on October 23, the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan city police have uncovered the murder of 64-year-old Ts.B., a resident of an apartment building on 2nd Vardashen Street, which occurred on October 22.

Reportedly, Garik Mashadyan, a 46-year-old resident of the same building, turned himself in to the police in Erebuni, confessing to the crime under the pressure of evidence. He has been arrested as a suspect upon the investigator's decision.

According to journalist sources, he is the brother of Rafik Mashadyan, the Deputy Head of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, but there has been no contact between them for many years. It can be said that G. Mashadyan has led an independent life from his brother, and they have not met for a long time.
