Time Reports: Samvel Babayan's Project to be Rejected

“Time” newspaper reports that the authorities of Artsakh have decided that the package of constitutional amendments proposed by supporters of Samvel Babayan will be rejected by the National Assembly, and it will not reach the Constitutional Court.

Thus, the political responsibility for rejecting this request will fall on the parliamentary parties. There are 20,000 signatures from Artsakh citizens supporting the request, which, if accepted, would allow Samvel Babayan to participate in the parliamentary elections of the Republic of Artsakh.
