What Important Issues Did Zohrab Mnatsakanyan Discuss with His Georgian Counterpart
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, met on October 15 with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, David Zalkaliani, who is part of a delegation led by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia in Armenia. This information was provided by the Public Diplomacy and Media Department of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. The foreign ministers reaffirmed their mutual preparedness to deepen cooperation based on centuries-old friendship between the two countries in all possible directions, outlining the framework for steps to be taken in this regard.
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Georgia exchanged views on cooperation and dialogue with the EU within the framework of the Eastern Partnership. The regional situation and issues were discussed in detail. Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining regional peace, security, and stability,” the statement said.
