«Iravats» newspaper writes: In previous issues of «Iravats», we reported that certain departments and divisions within the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport might be merged into the newly created Committee for the Protection of Monuments. The idea of having such a structure, by the way, was also proposed by previous administrations, but each time it was postponed for various reasons. For a considerable time now, there have been discussions within the ministry about who could be the director of the committee.

Among these expectations is Armen Abroyan, the head of the agency for the protection of historical and cultural monuments of the ministry.
