Grigori Hayrapetyan Dismissed from the Position of Head of NSS State Protection Service
Grigori Hayrapetyan has been dismissed from the position of Head of the National Security Service's State Protection Service upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister. This was reported by the official website of the President of Armenia.
“Based on the Prime Minister's recommendation, in accordance with Part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as Part 1 of Article 16.1 of the Law on Ensuring the Security of Persons Subject to Special State Protection, Grigori Hayrapetyan has been dismissed from the position of Head of the National Security Service's State Protection Service by order of President Armen Sarkissian,” states the relevant order.
It is noteworthy that Hayrapetyan was appointed to this position at the recommendation of the Prime Minister on June 11, 2018.
