EPP to Issue Special Statement on Syria Soon: Ashotyan

Armen Ashotyan, Vice-President of the Republican Party of Armenia, stated on his Facebook page: “Today, I participated in the meeting of the Political Assembly of the European People's Party in Brussels. During my speech, I addressed the Turkish invasion of Northern Syria and the resulting humanitarian disaster. I emphasized the dangers threatening our compatriots and other national and religious minorities. I noted that 100 years after the genocide, the Turkish army is once again raising its hand against Armenians and other Christian peoples. The EPP will soon issue a special statement regarding this matter.”
