Azerbaijani Authorities Do Not Speak on Behalf of the People: Naghdalyan

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Anna Naghdalyan, addressed the recent statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during today’s press conference, noting that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has reached an impasse.

According to Naghdalyan, the Azerbaijani authorities have not spoken on behalf of the people, whereas the voice of the Armenian government is grounded in the interests of the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“For us, the safety of the peoples is paramount, and we will pursue its implementation. We will not allow a new genocide or atrocities against the people of Artsakh,” said the spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
