Opel Crashes Into Stone Toilet, Fire Erupts, Casualties Reported

A major car accident and fire occurred in the Kotayk region today, October 7. Around 07:40, the driver of an Opel vehicle with license plate 36 FR 369 was traveling along the 20th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, in the territory of Abovyan, when he veered off the roadway and crashed into stones, subsequently colliding with a stone toilet situated in a factory area.

According to Shamshyan.com, a fire broke out in the vehicle as a result of the accident, but both the driver and passenger managed to escape the car on their own. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire that had erupted in the vehicle; however, the car, which was loaded with agricultural products, was almost completely reduced to ashes.
