Major Car Accident in Kotayk Province: 43-Year-Old Driver Crashes Toyota into ZIL Truck and Overturns

Today, October 7, a car accident occurred in Kotayk Province. At around 5:40 PM, a resident of Karenis village, 43-year-old Robert Y., collided with a parked ZIL truck driven by 62-year-old Martin M. from Charentsavan on the road leading from Charentsavan city to Karenis village, while operating a Toyota vehicle with license plate B 881 BH 40.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Robert Y. was diagnosed with 'polytrauma' and was first transported to the Charentsavan medical center, where he received initial treatment before being transferred to the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center in Yerevan.

The photojournalist also reports that the Toyota was completely turned into scrap metal, and its debris damaged a Toyota Camry with license plate 36 AV 018 that was nearby at the time.
