Gas Price Increase is One of the Most Likely Scenarios: Armen Manvelyan
There are serious issues in Armenian-Russian relations that remain unresolved. Thus, currently, an increase in gas prices is one of the most likely scenarios. This was stated in an interview with Tert.am by Armen Manvelyan, a senior researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies, specializing in energy geopolitics and international security matters.
“The relations are more complicated than ever. When the Armenian side manages to resolve the existing issues, more specifically the problems created by official Yerevan, I do not know,” he noted.
Armen Manvelyan pointed out that it is already October, but there is no clarity in the negotiations between the Government and Gazprom. “If there is no clarity, it means that there are problems that the parties are unable to overcome,” he said.
